What is Holistic?

The word holistic is often used in various forms today. At Holistic Hometown we believe holistic is a word which means to look at all of the available options without judgment and find the mixture of resources that works for you.
Holistic has at times been confused with the word alternative. Holistic, as we define it, does not mean anti-allopathic medicine. Holistic is not 'anti' anything. When you come to Holistic Hometown you can be sure that we do not advocate one OR the other. We believe that there are benefits to both allopathic and alternative medicine. It is the black and white thinking that is precisely not holistic (in our terms) for it limits your choices. (It then becomes tight rather than open energetically which doesn't allow for the healing to occur.)
Holistic Hometown was created to offer you more resources to holistic options and to give you the information and tools to decide for yourself what resources would most benefit you on your path to healing and holistic living. We are not here to judge, rather, to allow you to judge for yourself.
Blessings to you in finding your unique path to holistic living.
